Pago de Cirsus – Navarra, Spain

 

A barrel-fermented dry rosé made from Garnacha, Syrah, and Tempranillo. Crafted from hand-harvested grapes and aged on lees in new French oak, this rosé offers complexity, freshness, and refined elegance.

Pago de Cirsus Rosé

  • Wine type: Dry rosé – Barrel fermented
    Grape varieties: Garnacha, Syrah, Tempranillo
    Alcohol content: 14.5% vol
    Serving temperature: 8–10°C (46–50°F)
    Harvest period: Last week of September
    Harvest method: Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes
    Maceration: Cold pre-fermentation at 5°C (41°F) for 24 hours in refrigerated chamber
    Fermentation & Aging: Fermented in new French oak barrels and aged on lees for 3 months

    Tasting Notes
    Appearance: Soft pink with light fuchsia and pale strawberry reflections
    Aroma: Red fruits such as strawberry and pomegranate, with floral and tropical notes; fresh vanilla in the background
    Palate: Smooth and well-balanced, with a silky texture and vibrant acidity; not overly alcoholic, with refined freshness
