A bold and expressive Grenache from high-altitude hillside terraces. Crafted with care from a mosaic of micro-plots, this wine reflects the richness of its native terroir and the finesse of oak aging.

Unsi Terrazas Red

  • Wine type: Red wine – 100% Garnacha
    Origin: D.O. Navarra
    Serving temperature: 14–17°C

    Vineyard:

    • Steep terraces at 600–700 meters altitude

    • Sandy, calcareous clay soils with good ventilation and medium depth

    • Woodland environment; vineyard yield: 3,500 kg/ha

    Winemaking & Aging:

    • Aged for 6 months in French oak: 700 L barrels and 3,500 L foudres

    • Selection from terraces with varying soil types, slopes, and elevations

    Tasting Notes
    Color: Deep red with bright purple hues
    Aroma: Intense and varietal—red fruits (raspberry, strawberry), violet floral hints, and wild Mediterranean herbs (thyme, rosemary)
    Palate: Powerful yet fresh, with sweet tannins and a return of floral and red fruit flavors
    Finish: Lingering, pleasant, and aromatic
